people will dismiss this because of a few grammatical errors but it doesn’t mean that this message isn’t 100% truth. 

I’ll dismiss this because it’s a simplistic take on a complicated issue.

i like how they’re accusing white hipsters of racism while singling out white people and telling them to get out of their and other neighborhoods.

cool logic, bro.

I’ve got ten bucks that says a white person made it.

Totally a white person who claims to be 1/6th of whatever minority of their choice.

 URBAN PLANNING PROBLEMS. i’d say i am part of the problem, but i actually like diverse neighborhoods.  no one will ever be happy with change. most importantly no matter what everyone complains.  this is a complex issue that this sign can’t fix and is pretty racist itself.

Sending a message to white people isn’t racist. In order to complete a racist action, it needs to come with institutional power.  Racism is a structural problem. If you take that out of it, it is just discrimination and as meaningless as people making fun of blondes. There can be prejudiced actions against white people in America. NOT RACISM.

Anyways, this poster fails to go into the real cause of gentrification: income. White people tend to have more income because of POC because of institutional racism giving them the benefit of jobs and other forms of purchasing power. Saying only white people moving into neighborhoods, however, causes gentrification overlooks the subtleties of class even in a privileged race. There are many white people who are living from pay check to pay check. Them moving into a community with POC, which tends to be less expensive, is not gentrification. A person with lots of purchasing power outside of the norm for that area, however, DOES cause that.

Also, hipster hate is the most ridiculous trend ever. It’s so subjective and claims to know more about random people than they know about themselves.
